Zippy Corn On The Cob

1/4 cup margarine or butter, softened
1/4 cup fresh chopped chives
1/4 cup minced fresh garlic
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 ears of corn, husked

In a small bowl mix the margarine or butter, chives, garlic, and pepper.

Smear the butter mixture on the ears of corn.

Wrap each ear in a piece of heavy foil. Grill corn on an uncovered grill directly over hot coals for 15 to 18 minutes or until tender, turning frequently.

Or in a covered grill, arrange hot coals around a drip pan. Place corn on grill rack over drip pan but not over coals. Lower grill hood. Grill 20 to 25 minutes or until tender.

Or roast the corn in an oven at 350* for 30 minutes.
